Socrates Zapata, M.D.

A graduate of the Neurology Residency Program at the LSU Health Sciences School of Medicine in New Orleans, Dr. Zapata subsequently completed his fellowship in Pain Management with the School. Having acquired specialty training in adult neurology as well as sub-specialization in the treatment of chronic pain, Dr. Zapata currently holds an LSU faculty appointment as a Clinical Instructor of Medicine. Now affiliated with the Advanced Pain Institute, LLC, Dr. Zapata is accepting new and referred patients at both the Covington and Hammond office locations.
